Music notes, dancing slow,

bodies joining, hearts colliding

& hanging records on the walls

Concert tickets, sleeping in,

philosophizing, speaking in unison

& being happy while angry;

grateful and wanting

I’ve been restlessly waiting,

mindlessly pacing

watching the sun rise

outside my window at 4 AM

Your arms are the only place I can say, “I am home.”
